After a month of practices we finally get into competition. This evening we will start warm up at 4:50 pm for 10 minutes with National Anthem then bowl 2 games for score. We will be facing a tough task competing with Jeffersonville, but I feel we are up to it!

First season practice will be this Wednesday, Strike and Spare Clarksville 5pm.

Welcome to this season of competition.

I want to start out welcoming in all the new freshmen this year which will be joining the ranks to help replace the seniors that graduated from last season. As well as welcome in the 7th and 8th grade HHMS bowlers which will join use during regular season competition.

This year will start league competition on Monday October 14th and conclude Monday December 16th (10 weeks) with Sectionals on January 11th (weather make up date Jan 18th)

Here is a break down of the calendar:

September 11th: Practice @ Strike and Spare 5pm
September 15th: Practice @ Blackiston 5pm
** Every Wednesday and Sunday practices will repeat this schedule

October 14: Match bowling @ Strike and Spare 5pm (2 games)
October 21: Match bowling @ Strike and Spare 5pm (2 games)
October 28: Match bowling @ Strike and Spare 5pm (2 games)
November 4: Match bowling @ Strike and Spare 5pm (2 games)
November 11: Match bowling @ Strike and Spare 5pm (Baker format 2 games)
November 18: Match bowling @ Blackiston Bowl 5pm (2 games)
November 25: Match bowling @ Blackiston Bowl 5pm (2 games)
December 2: Match bowling @ Blackiston Bowl 5pm (2 games)
December 9: Match bowling @ Blackiston Bowl 5pm (2 games)
December 16: Match bowling @ Blackiston Bowl 5pm (Baker format 2 games)

January 11: Sectional Bowling @ Blackiston Bowl 9am (4 singles games, lunch break, 10 baker games)

I feel that this bowling club is possibly the least expensive competitive sport that a young athlete can participate in. As with everything in life right now, cost has increased slightly.

$60 10 weeks match bowling @ $6 per week
$4 USBC registration card (If this is paid in a separate league please deduct)
$10 Sectional bowling fee (not required for middle school bowlers)
$74 Total for High School, $64 for Middle School.

$6 per practice, to be collected at end of season
Last season I held roughly 30 practices. Practice is not mandatory, but highly recommended.

Equipment (shoes,ball,etc) are NOT required to participate. You are free to use the house equipment, this is included with the associated fees already collected.

All student must adhere to this code of conduct while participating in this club.
